Soirée Pratique: Build your own long range plant sensor

On Tuesday February 28th, the IEEE student branch Leuven and FITCE Belgium will help you build your very own long range plant sensor. The soirée pratique starts at 19:00 with a reception afterwards.

Location: B91.100, Departement Elektrotechniek ESAT Kasteelpark Arenberg 10, Heverlee

During the soirée pratique you will build and program your own LoRa based plant sensor.

The program is as follows:

18:30: Registration

19:00: Welcome

19:10: Open Source IoT Prototyping
Frederik Santens, IoTBE

19:40: CloudGate as LoRaWAN basestation
Timothy Van Wonterghem, Option

20:00: Build and program sensor
TELEMIC, ESAT

21:00: Reception

Participants can use the registration form below to register. The price for all the hardware is 10 euro for non-IEEE members and 5 euro for IEEE members. If possible bring your own laptop to program the plant sensor.
